Position: Senior QA for Web Applications
Job Description:
As a Senior QA for web applications, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing quality assurance processes to ensure the functionality, performance, and usability of our web applications.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to identify and resolve software defects, conduct thorough testing, and contribute to the overall improvement of our web applications.
You will lead the QA team and manage the QA tasks as per priority and distribute them to others on the QA team based on their competence.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a QA personnel of 10+ years, with a focus on web applications for more than 5 years.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including manual and automated testing techniques.
Experience with test management and bug tracking with Jira
Hands on experience in Selenium for test automation.
Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web APIs.
Knowledge of different web browsers, their rendering engines, and compatibility issues.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and provide detailed bug reports.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate and articulate technical concepts to cross-functional teams.
Hands on experience with Scrum agile development and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
Experience in:
ISTQB or other relevant certifications in software testing.
Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) and techniques.
Knowledge of security testing methodologies and best practices.
Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD) frameworks.
Familiarity with Bitbucket version control system.
